why are we becoming more individualistic and segregated?
community repair is an idea that will hopefully grow into a cultural movement that will grow into a governing political party.
this is our hope and aim and this blog is the very start.
what are we hoping to achieve? closer relationships and a more even spread of wealth across our fine nations. we make no excuses we are robin hoods. we will be reducing the amount that some organisations are taking from our finite money supply and redistributing it to all New Zealanders. there is more than enough to go around.
where are we now. our belief is that the mis-allocation of wealth in New Zealand and globally has not only create have and have nots but worse than that has caused a degradation of our communities, has made us selfish, individualistic and dog eat dog. Humans didn’t get to where we are today by going it alone. And we are not going to move forward from this point by going it alone. Our markets are skewed, our corporations greedy, our planet is dying, our governments successfully lobbied by corporations and ignoring their people and as a result our communities are becoming segregated and powerless.
this is not ramblings of mad men , this has been revealed by the financial crisis of 2008 when the largest government in the world was held ransom by financial institutions
our belief at community repair is that the financial institutions currently influencing the global economy have made us, the people of the world, powerless
this is one of the key focus points of movements like occupy wall street and a string of documentaries after the 2008 global crisis
this sounds all a little dramatic perhaps even a little conspiratory but if you give us a chance I think we can show you that we are on the edge of cultural collapse and in the words of Rage Against the Machine, we need to ‘Take the Power Back’
please keep an open mind and leave your greed at the door, we can only make it out of the hole if we can come to terms with taking from our environment only that which we need
